Black Materia

Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 - one of the greatest games ever made and Final Fantasy Advent Children. Also: notoriously twisted evil villain extraordinaire (that was the working title before I realized it was much too long.)

This was an attempt at using charcoal pencils. Unfortunately, they crumbled very easily because they were really cheap and made quite the mess. But, all in all, I think it came out decently enough.

6B, 4B, 2B, F, H, 2H, 3H and 4H pencils
A handful of oddly shaped erasers lying around my house
Tissues and q-tips for blending
Photoshop CS3 for levels and the band-aid tool (to remove those irritating black spots my scanner leaves.)
